Last Minute Halloween-ing

Seriously, we are Halloween-ing more this year than we ever have before, and we are loving every cotton pickin' minute.

In fact, this week has been so jam-packed with black and orange goodness, that I am beside myself with joy. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.
Here are some bits and pieces of all the ways we've been making the most of All Hallow's Eve:

Wednesday to went to a church festival with some of our favorite people.

Libby wanted to bring a treat to her friends at school....
so we incorporated our two favorite things about Halloween:
candy corn and bats.

We made super stinkin' cute hair bows for the Libster.

And this really fun, non-creepy bat garland:

Then my completely awesome sister-in-law brought me some nectar from the gods, aka candy-corn flavored salt water taffy. I'd like to invest and buy stock in the stuff...it's that good.
She also brought us a four pound bag of the good stuff, which we're hoping will last us until tomorrow.

In addition, she came with gifts for the kiddos. Love this little owl, and please notice the bats on the sucker.

And what would Halloween be without bat rings???

And suckers magically morphed into ghosts????

And pumpkin bracelets that you can eat while trick-or-treating?????

Oh, and giveaways??? Ok, so maybe you could have Halloween without giveaways, but why would you want to do such a thing? Lucky you, I have a hook up. Go here to enter...and come back tomorrow, where I've got a JEWELRY giveaway for one of you. :)
All treats, no tricks here at my place. Again, you can thank me later.

Little Bow Teek Giveaway: October 29-November 4

Today I want to introduce you to another FABULOUS Etsy shop for little girls.
Bloggers, welcome to Little Bow Teek.

I have to say when I first found this shop, I think I might have drooled a little.
Her stuff is so cute and so original!

I love how the little Minnie head sparkles. SO CUTE!
And take a look at this little set:

I think it's just adorable.

And, she doesn't only offer hair clips. Feast your eyes on THIS:

I normally don't talk prices on my blog because in the South that's generally considered tacky, but can I just say that I was 'pick my jaw up off of the flow' shocked when I found out this is LESS THAN FIVE DOLLARS?????? I mean, seriously????

I also love these little snowflakes. How cute for Christmas!

The owner is also super fond of....you guessed it....FELT! AHHHHHH!

I might have screamed a little when I saw this next one. Hollyn NEEDS it.
I think it might be my personal favorite thing in her shop.

You love him too, don't you. Yeah, I thought you might.

Well, the owner has offered TEN PERCENT off of your purchase for the next week! All you have to do is purchase your item and then leave her a message telling her you found her shop through my blog, and she'll refund your money through PayPal. Pretty awesome, right? Yeah, you only THINK it's awesome now...just wait until you see her PRICES!

In addition to offering 10% off for the next week, she's also going to send one of THESE to one of YOU:

Not the child, although she's adorable too. But don't you just love that little clippie??!! It's a 1 3/4 inch alligator clip with no slip included to keep it in your little one's hair. And I love it.

Assuming you love it too, here's how you can enter:

Halloween Magent Board...Scary and Not-So-Scary Versions

Halloween is ALMOST here, and I could not be more excited. I think that since I was oober pregnante last year and trick-o-treating became a chore instead of a joy, I'm double excited about this year. Make sense? Good.
So, with the big day being only three days away, this will be my last Halloween craft this year.
*Sigh*
But don't worry, we still have Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner.
Never fear; the crafting won't stop....it just won't be black, orange, and scary anymore.

Today I want to show a super easy, super cost effective way to make a magnet board. In fact, this is so easy that it's almost not worth posting, but it's so adaptable to any holiday, birthday, etc., that I thought I'd share.

First, hit up your local Dollar Tree.
I saw these pizza pans and just knew I could make great things happen.

If you don't see this exact one, no problem. You can use any shape or size.
You can even use burner covers, just be sure that whatever you use is magnetic.

Then I also bought a bag of these from the Dollar Tree as well (they also carry them at Wal-Mart, but they're more expensive).

I then took a sheet of paper and used my Silhouette to cut circles. No Silhouette? No problem. Just trace a quarter and cut out your circles.

Next you'll want to hot glue a piece of paper to the bottom of each clear glass stone.

Then hot glue a magnet under that.

And now sit back and admire how stinkin' cute your magnets are...I seriously think my fridge is going to protest if I don't make some just for it.

Ok, so here's the point when I incorporated Halloween. I used my Silhouette to cut some vinyl. Again, if you don't have one-- no problem! You can always just trace or sketch, cut, and hot glue. NO PROBLEM! You can also use contact paper.

Isn't that cute! I think it will be so great to use to display pics. of my kids each year in all of their costumes from Halloweens of days gone by. And in case you don't like scary, I also made one of these:

I think the pink is so cute.  :)

Here's hoping you have a safe, happy Halloween filled with more candy corn than your tummy can hold.

Oh, and I hear that entering giveaways is a way to make your Halloween even happier.
Just sayin.
