In an attempt to help Kristen reach her shirt-selling goal and fund her trip to work in an orphanage in Ghana, Africa, for two weeks this summer, I'd like to offer a very special giveaway.

And not only will this giveaway help Kristen.....

...but it will help the children waiting in this orphanage right now.....
waiting for their forever families.

The news:

I'd like to offer a FREE
Africa shirt to one of you.

Even if you've already ordered one, you can always share the love, yes?

And entering is super easy.

All I'll ask that you do is help us to spread the word about our fundraiser.
You can do this by posting about it on facebook, twitter, your blog, or even by sending an e-mail to your family and friends. Just include a link to my blog so that your readers will have access to our paypal button and leave a comment telling me what you have done to help get the word out. You can leave one comment for each thing you do.

Would you consider commiting to pray for Kristen
and the team who will join her on her trip to Africa this summer?

I certainly hope you will.

And if you do, please leave a comment with an encouraging word for her.
I know she would truly appreciate it.

If you've ever truly put your heart into something and lived on faith in an attempt to do what you believe God is telling you to do, then I'm pretty sure you'll agree to these two things:

1. It's terrifying.
2. It can lead to enormous blessings.

And who among us couldn't benefit from prayers and encouraging words?
Not a one.

The winner will be announced on March 2 after the sales are completed.
I'll then ask that the winner message me your t-shirt size and mailing info.

From the bottom of this ole' heart of mine, thank you in advance.

And before I go, I wanted to share this with you.
It's a video of a little boy who was adopted from Ethiopia THIS WEEK
meeting his  forever family for the very first time.
I hope it will touch your heart the way it touched mine.

Enter away, friends.

  1. I put this link as my fb status so all of my friends could see this, and will want to give up a few dollars to help change others lives... and because i am the number one minion.

  2. I'm praying for the 3 girls. They are doing what they have been called to do, and God will reward them for that. I pray for Kristen that she knows that God has His powerful and Mighty hand on her heart. God will provide everything that you need. His timing is perfect. Not a second late or too early. Kristen, you are so God-driven, and you have a heart for God that is rare to find these days. Keep your head up, and know that your name is being lifted up. I love you so much, and thank you for being you.

"When I was waiting quietly for the Lord, His heart was turned to me, and He gave ear to my cry." Psalms 40:1

  3. Praise God for people who do such HUGE acts of God. That video was amazing.

  4. And thank you for making me cry....

  5. I just wanted to say that it is great that God is calling on her to make a difference. It is such an amazing thing to help others, & it is so great to have support when doing so. I promise to pray for Kristen and the team as they prepare for the journey to Africa. They need all the love & prayers they can get.

P.S. I put a link to your Blog on my Facebook account. :)

  6. I shared your giveaway. I have many friends who have done mission trips to Africa also, so I hope they will check it out and at least be praying for what God will be doing.

Our sermon at church today was on 2 Timothy 4:7 and how we are in a relay race to pass the truth into the world. Your friend is totally doing that...and so are you! I know God will bless both of your journeys.

    2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.

  7. Posted the link for the giveaway on my FB page. Be sure to add me, McCall...and let me know what else I need to do for my jewelry giveaway!

  8. I posted a status on fb to help spread the word!

  9. I also emailed people to help spread the word!

  10. I'm also praying for the girls and that they will enjoy and learn and love more through this experience. It takes special people to want to help others!

  11. I will more than certainly commit to praying for Kristin and her friends. Please keep me informed with the details.

  12. I am already praying for those precious girls! I am so excited about them going (to) MAD in Africa. I am even more excited about you (McCall) keeping us informed of their journey via your blog! You are a window for us to see and feel a little connected to them and their journey!
AND, if i win the shirt, please give it to someone who didn't buy one. Since I bought 2. I don't want to be greedy!

  13. Posted about this on my FB status! Hope you get some last minute orders!

  14. I will be praying for the girls. What an amazing experience they will have. It will be one that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. I pray that they are able to touch many lives while they are there. I am proud that there are such amazing young people out in the world today!

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. - Deuteronomy 31:6
