THANK YOU! {A GIVEAWAY}

Big news: Lee, Me, and the Girls is on the verge of reaching100,000 views.

Wow.
That's a lot of people who have taken time out of their busy lives to take a glimpse into mine.
And I want to say thanks.

So, last week I ordered an extra one of these:

It's the book I've been reading lately and raving about to anyone who will listen.
I can honestly say it's one of the most meaningful, inspirational books I've ever read.
It's inspired me to do more to help those in need and to draw nearer to the God I love.

And this copy is for one of you.

All you have to do is be a follower of my blog and then leave a comment telling me one thing that inspires or has inspired you. It can be a quote or phrase, a person, a movie, a blog, a book...whatever you so choose.

If you're not already a follower- it's easy as pie. Just click on the follow button that you will find in the right hand column on my blog. If you prefer to follow via e-mail, that's fine too.

The giveaway will be open until Friday, November 11th at 11pm. The winner will be announced on Saturday, when I will have Libby draw a winner.
Only one entry per person, pleaseandthankyou.

Thanks again to all of you who take time to read my blog regularly; I could not be more thankful.

  1. Wow! Big Congrats McCall!! That book looks fantastic. Lots of people inspire me. The one that comes to mind is Beth Moore. I LOVE her approach to women's ministry and her heart for women. I have learned SOOOO much from her studies and hope to affect other women just a small portion of how she is affected me!

  3. my precious dear McCall,

I must say Good Job!! the blog is always fantastic!! I just love reading it! I really want this book so I will have to tell you an inspirational quote I have been "mulling over" like crazy lately...

"We need a focus. A main thing. Something bigger than skin cream or tennis shoes that reminds us of the purpose of it all. If we expect to regain a more simple heart, a more centered pace for our day, we need to order our lives in specific ways."~David and Barbara Sorensen :)

  4. I am a follower :)

The quote "Where you live should not determine whether you live" has inspired me in so many ways. It has given me a passion for those in less fortunate areas of the world. It has specifically given me a passion and inspiration for the children and people of Africa. SO many times their location determines whether they live and I can play a part in changing that. I have this quote posted all over my dorm room and bathroom so I will constantly be reminded of those that are less fortunate and what I can do to help them.

I love and miss you libster!!

  5. I am inspired by one of our patients. His name is Luke and he is a living miracle. He had a 35 minute seizure last New Year's Eve, and they thought he would never talk or walk again. And he is! Little things are so hard for him, but he pushes through and is able to do things no one ever thought he could. :-) Love you, Luke!

  7. The person who has inspired me most is my grandmother. She had such a giving heart. She worked as a daycare and Sunday School teacher for years at a local church. All the younger ones were her kids.
I want to be able to leave a legacy like my grandmother has. I want to learn what it truly means to be giving. I would love to win the book to simply add the inspiration that has been missing in my life.

  8. I like your posts about your birthday party ideas and recipes the most!

What inspires me, the idea that everyone you meet can teach you something. Whether you like the person or if you do not care for the person, I bet you can learn something from them!
